Avalon Theatre Company is Portugal’s premiere, professional
English-language theatre company for in-school performances.

Created by professionally trained, native English speaking artists, Grant Shepherd, Keith Harle and Beth Common, Avalon Theatre Company takes great pride in the high quality of its productions and every show that we present features professional actors,
lavish costumes, beautiful scenery, lights and sound.

Each year, Avalon Theatre Company tours English-language plays to hundreds of schools across Portugal with two in-school performances carefully designed by educators to enhance students’ undestanding of the English language and to introduce them to the joys of live theatre.

For the 2007-2008 Season Avalon invites your students to join in the fun as we present an abridged Romeo & Juliet for students ages 14-18 and King Arthur & the End of the World for students ages 9-13.
